SOUTHERN KUCAJ (Veliki Lisac 1111 m)

Southern Kucaj is the most uninhabited area in Serbia. A lot of hidden and undiscovered natural beauties can be found here. As you walk through this vast expanse, you will not see any larger settlement, except for a few huts.

Peak Lisac (the Fox) is also called Four aces. If you want to climb it, you must reach the town of Zagubica and the spring of the river Mlava. From Belgrade, spring of Mlava is 165 km away. At spring of Mlava, drive in the direction of waterfall Buk. Waterfall is without water, so do not go to visit it. After 1-2 km of a macadam road, leave your car and continue by foot. You must pass 16 km to Lisac, with a 600 m of light ascent. Until the bottom of Lisac, there are no markings. At the foothill of Lisac, markings appears. Return back by the same way.

From the top of Lisac (1111 m) you will see mountains Veliki krs, Borski Stol, Deli Jovan and many peaks of Kucaj and Homolje mountains. Enjoy!
