HOMOLJE MOUNTAINS (Veliki Vranj 884 m)

On our way to Veliki (Great) Vranj, we visited monastery Gornjak, which is located after Petrovac, at Gornjak gorge. This monastery was founded by St. Gregory of Gornjak, founder of monastery Gregoriou, at Mount Athos.

We continued along the unmarked path and begin our climb to Veliki Vranj.

Soon we came to Komnenska river. There is a waterfall Mijucic and a small cave.

Just below the top, there are remains of a stone house.

Finally, we are at the highest point! A view is fantastic! We can see Stubej and all the mountains of Homolje area.
