MONTENEGRO

Montenegro, small but beautiful country, is well known for its harsh but very attractive mountain peaks. Indeed, only a few country owns beauty that Montenegro has. Serbia is beautiful, but does not have that rough, wild beauty of Montenegro. At only twenty kilometers from the urban areas, there are such a breathtaking peaks. The good thing is that most of these mountain areas are almost untouched, the man has not had a chance to bring them the plague of civilization. It is a fascinating sight to climb over the rocks and walk through landscapes without trees, with only occasional blade of grass, while the twisted, spiky, mist covered peaks are in front of you. The beauty of the glacial lakes of Montenegro and the massive peaks in their hinterland is indescribable. And yet when you see the beautiful Bay of Kotor from the top of the mountain! Prokletije (The Damned Mountains), Komovi, mountains of Moraca, Mrtvica canyon, are just some of the places where you can hide from the world and enjoy an incredible feel of freedom, which rarely can be experienced. Peaceful life in ancient cottages and extremely hospitable, warm and friendly hosts, will return you to the distant past and will remind you that there are still people who have not forgotten the true, genuine, Christian system of values.
