DEVIL’S TOWN (700 m)

Devil’s Town (Djavolja Varos), this amazing wonder of nature, is located near Prolom Banja, 288 km from Belgrade. This natural monuments consists of soil figures, which are very attractive. Many legends and stories are related to this incredible formations. Science explains it by erosion of volcanic rocks. Figures are spooky and scary, but breathtaking, at the same time. Nearby these strange formations, once there was a mine. Remains of mining pits still exists, as well as a water flavored with iron, called “The Devil’s water”.
