HOMOLJE MOUNTAINS (Veliki Stubej 940 m)

Veliki (Great) Stubej (also known as Stubej) is the second highest peak of Homolje mountains. Ascent to Stubej starts from the cave Ceremosnja. The cave is located in the village of the same name. Distance between Belgrade and Ceremosnja is about 145 km. You must drive by the Belgrade-Nis highway. After you exit the highway at Pozarevac, the road leads you through Pozarevac and Kucevo. At Kucevo, look for the signpost to Ceremosnja.

From the cave, it takes about 4 km to the top. The trail is easy. The summit is surrounded by woods. This tour is very easy and relaxing.
